You will be supporting people with learning disabilities and/or mental health issues and some of the services support adults with moderate to severe learning disability, autistic spectrum conditions or significant physical disability you will be helping them to have a better quality of life and to become as independent as possible.
We need people that are dynamic, highly motivated, are enthusiastic and are keen to join an innovative multi-disciplinary team.
Having some of the training listed below would be an advantage to the role but not essential:
- Positive Intervention
- Team Teach
- Managing violence and aggression
- Breakaway techniques
- Understanding and knowledge of the issues faced by service users.
- Creative approach to empowering service users to achieve their goals
- Flexible and adaptable attitude to suit a variety of different services
You will be required to complete a full enhanced DBS check to be in place for this position. We have the on line DBS check system which can sometimes get your DBS check back the NEXT DAY!
